The Fox Cities Forge, proud members of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL), have entered into a non-exclusive affiliation agreement with the Janesville Jets of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
The affiliation agreement will create a direct pathway for player advancement between the two organizations, allowing for seamless movement of players while supporting their development at the appropriate level. As a non-exclusive agreement, both organizations will continue to maintain relationships with other teams throughout the NAHL and NA3HL.
“We are excited to announce this affiliation agreement with the Janesville Jets,” said Fox Cities Forge Owners Mark Mazzoleni and Jeff Lindemann. “The Jets have established themselves as one of the premier organizations in the NAHL and have a long history of developing players and advancing them to higher levels of hockey. This partnership provides our players with an outstanding opportunity to continue climbing USA Hockey’s ladder of development while pursuing their long-term hockey goals.”
The affiliation reinforces the Forge’s commitment to player development and advancement by creating additional opportunities for players to showcase their abilities and earn opportunities at the NAHL level.
“The Janesville Jets strongly believe in the USA Hockey ladder of development,” said Bill McCoshen, Founder and President of the Janesville Jets and Chairman of the NAHL Board of Governors. “Players need time to develop and may start in the NA3HL before advancing to the NAHL and beyond. Partnerships like this allow us to identify and develop players while ensuring they are playing at the level best suited for their growth.”
The Jets have successfully utilized this development model in the past, helping players gain valuable experience and playing time before advancing within the junior hockey ranks.
As the Fox Cities Forge prepare for their inaugural season in the NA3HL, the organization continues to build partnerships that will provide players with the resources, exposure, and advancement opportunities necessary to achieve success both on and off the ice.
The Fox Cities Forge begin play in the 2026-27 season at the Appleton Family Ice Center as members of the NA3HL’s Central Division.
